Working together is how change is possible. Our impactīy providing technical support and capacity building toward national strategic planning and integrated NCD service expansion, the NCD Synergies community is a vehicle through which health leaders in low-income countries can collaborate to better serve their poorest constituents. In one of the most exciting components of this effort, NCD Synergies has partnered with the Lancet Commission on Reframing NCDs and Injuries for the Poorest Billion (NCDI Poverty) and formalized partnerships with several ministries of health, collaborating with trusted partners on the ground to make more equitable NCD planning priorities achievable. We collect, share, and advance essential NCD planning and implementation knowledge that is inclusive of those living in extreme poverty through face-to-face and virtual collaboration, including clinical mentorship and training, and development of publications, webinars, and conferences. NCD Synergies works across the Partners In Health network to support NCD policy and integrated care delivery designed to reach our poorest patients. Encourage the global NCD movement to adopt a focus more inclusive of those living in extreme poverty.Collaborate with public sector health leaders in national planning, monitoring, and priority-setting for NCDs and injuries in a way that is more reflective of their local burden.Promote knowledge sharing across countries regarding clinical innovations for NCDs and injuries, including integrated service delivery, clinical mentorship, and training.Participants of this meeting represented a diverse set of countries, including Malawi, Ethiopia, Nepal, India, among others.
